IT Trainer

Croydon / Westminster / Hendon - £35,114 - £40,380 + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity with one of our high profile clients to be based in either Croydon, Wetminster or Hendon. They have one of the largest IT estates in the UK that is engaged with by several million customers each year.

As a result of ongoing growth within their Live Services IT department they are seeking a IT Trainer to join the team. As the Digital Trainer you will be working as part of a dedicated ServiceNow DevOps Team. You will act as the single point of contact for all ServiceNow training and be responsible for all aspects of training from developing training strategy, policy and standards through to the development and delivery of training material to a range of audiences.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality training to a diverse set of stakeholders including in-house resources and external Supplier community.
  • Work alongside Augmentation resource to develop and implement the Digital Training Strategy and associated products for ServiceNow ensuring full knowledge transfer from Augmentation resource to BAU.
  • Lead and continually drive the strategic direction of the Digital Training function to ensure it aligns to continued enhancement of the ServiceNow platform across the Home Office Live Service Operation.
  • Design and create training material (CBTs, documentation, face to face courses when relevant, knowledge articles) for all ServiceNow related training needs.
  • Work in conjunction with ServiceNow DevOps team to identify, assess and evaluate ongoing training/education needs.
  • Manage process for feedback and continual improvement for all training products.
  • Co-ordinate updates and amendments to relevant products when functionality changes as part of ServiceNow development.
  • Work to reduce the need for classroom based training but where required and appropriate deliver classroom based training.

Experience required:

  • An understanding of best practice ITIL v3 methodology and experience of working within a SIAM model
  • Experience of delivering training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Solid experience of the ServiceNow platform
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others, and change people's attitudes when necessary;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to confidently present to external stakeholders, able to structure and communicate ideas using visual and other aids to facilitate accelerated learning
  • Understanding and experience of working with agile methodologies
