My client a large global brand is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician on a initial 3 month period. The purpose of the role is to ensure absolute customer satisfaction and resolution of end user computing hardware & software issues. Ensure that incidents and problems are classified, prioritized, resourced, remedied and that preventative measures are taken to avoid re occurrence.
You will be tasked to perform as the initial point of contact for internal customers/partners/vendors requiring assistance in resolving problems, working under the general direction of the Service Delivery Manager.
Partner with the Service Delivery Manager, the global Concierge team and the End User Computing Team, to drive continuous improvements in operational quality and performance. Monitor the Technology Concierge - to make sure they are remedied in a timely manner.
This is a hands-on technical support role on laptops and mobile devices to a varied community of users. Ensure all processes and procedures are appropriately followed and that documentation is maintained correctly. Work collaboratively with other members of the team, vendors, third parties, subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure absolute customer satisfaction. As part of the Technology Concierge team provide input to meetings, IT technician forums, training and coaching activities.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT support role.
- Excellent customer service skills & good communication.
