We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to join one of our key clients based in Burton upon Trent . The role is accountable for defining end-to-end solutions and driving technical delivery from requirements to operational use. This role will support multiple technology projects using Agile methodologies. This role is a critical one in our organisation that ensures we consistently deliver the highest quality products to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment where collaboration with internal teams and customers is key to your day-to-day success.

Key responsibilities that improve patient experience

Design of digital solutions that meet the demands of our patients and customers that follow our architectural principles to ensure we can deliver a consistent, high quality IT services to our patients and customers.

Utilise Agile delivery principles to ensure that value as early as possible.

Take ownership of technical problems through to resolution. Collaborating with customers and technical SMEs to drive resolutions.

Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge across a wide breadth of technologies (applications, infrastructure, cloud, networks and data).
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack (DevOps, Azure, O365 and D365).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum Process and experience working with engineers to deploy and iterate on live software.
  • Data savvy (XML, Data Mapping, Canonical, Database design) with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Wireframes, user flows, visual design and mockup / prototypes.
  • Understanding of overall customer needs and ability have a holistic view of design and user experience; ability to deliver on short term needs that fit into long term vision.
