IT Project Manager (Application/Software)
Location: Aztec West, Bristol
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 + benefits
These roles are to work on a brand new IT Programme.
There are 2 vacancies for IT Project Manager (Application/Software) to work for the UK's Leading Engineering Support services organisation as part of their division based in Aztec West, Bristol.
As an IT Project Manager (Application/Software) you will be responsible for managing a workstream that will see individual projects covering managing application projects, some of these will include in-house applications which are being up-graded, delivering Qlikview (BI Tool); a Telemetry project; a Sharepoint portal as well as an Asset Management solution.
Other projects will also include Continuous Improvement, Predicted Analytics (Data)
As the Project Manager you will also be responsible for the following;
Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet stakeholder and customer needs including change control.
Maintain a full set of high quality documentation, as required by the IT Project Management processes for each project
Effective coordination and communication with all areas of the business that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work being managed
The successful Project Manager will have successfully delivered IT Software/Application based projects to cost/ time and quality using Waterfall methodology.
You will have delivered projects through the full E2E lifecycle and can demonstrate this in your interview.
Prince 2 qualified with experience using MS Project Server would be beneficial.
This role will require some travel to London on a weekly basis (travel will be expense)
Please note these are 12 month Fixed Term Contracts to deliver a high level Programme. There may be an opportunity to be taken on permanently at the end of the Programme but this cannot be guaranteed.
This role will require the individual to obtain NVPP2 on acceptance of the position.
