IT Delivery Lead / Systems Lead

My client within the Banking and Financial Sector is currently seeking an experienced TPM Systems Lead to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis in London.

This position requires IT delivery / SDLC lifecycle knowledge in order to manage the project along with strong stakeholder management skills - you will be responsible for dealing with other vendors, contractors, internal stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT delivery of the TPM platform with the Purchasing business, systems integrators (SI) and software vendors to implement the IT solution,
  • Manage the continuous improvement of the TPM platform and automation of upstream / downstream system interfaces,
  • Work with the TPM Integrators (SI) and the broader TPM team to facilitate the hand-over of responsibilities to in-house RTB resources,
  • Work with IT Architecture and Purchasing to create an appropriate Future Road Map to ensure the product remains in synch with system upgrades and business objectives.
  • Work with IT and Business Support Teams to mature the support model for Purchasing.
  • The incumbent will need to establish strong relationships with key stake-holders, including:
    • TPM SI
    • Procurement
    • Service Company Management
    • TPM Program Team
    • TPM Stakeholders
    • IT COO
    • HOST Finance
    • ERP Strategy and Support Teams
  • A delivery oriented IT manager with the relevant experience to lead significant implementation projects in the matrix delivery structure.
  • Ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for understanding current procurement systems and data landscape to ensure readiness for integration and transition into new systems including the approach to dissolution of any existing systems where appropriate.
  • Working with PMO to ensure project plans, governance & status reporting is in place to manage progress, risks and issues
  • Manage the IT Risk associated with the adoption of emerging technology solutions.
  • Working closely with Procurement stakeholders and the businesses to design end-to-end system requirements of key Procurement processes, reporting requirements and any other associated activities.
