International Senior Strategy Project Lead

We are looking to speak to a commercially aware, Senior Strategy Project Lead for our client. This is a 12 month role based in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
Pay: £350 - 375 per day

For this integration project we would like to offer a challenging and unique opportunity to become a member of the IT integration team.

Key Activities for this temporary role will include:
· Supports the IT Integration team with project management activities;
· Aligns regularly with responsible Leads and stakeholders within domains of Operations, Commercial, Infrastructure, and Back Office functions on integration progress;
· Provides accurate and consistent progress reports including risk and issue escalation;
· Develops recommendations for action when issues arise;
· Successfully supports the transformation and incorporates this in a natural way with the business aspect of the integration;
· Maintain and update the IT integration project plan and toolkits using existing tools/processes and utilizes industry-standard methodologies;
· Keep track of the IT integration execution progress and closely monitor the process;
· Provide regular status updates and develop presentations for Senior Management audience.

The ideal candidate will have:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advanced degree preferred);
· Strong awareness of IT development in Ops, Infrastructure, Commercial and/or Back Office domains with exposure to software development frameworks;
· At least 3 years of experience in leading cross functional projects and teams developing project plans, gaining buy-in and tracking progress;
· Experience working in fast-paced environments with immediate, short-term responsiveness while developing long-term strategic plans;
· Experience utilizing industry standard project management tools;
· Excellent communication skills in English;
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to interact effectively throughout various functional groups and hierarchical levels;
· Experience working with global teams developing, tracking, and implementing global solutions to business needs.
