Integration Designer- Swindon- 9 Months.

Integration Designer required to work within our NEMDC Legacy migration project. This team will be working in Agile cells to migrate existing applications at a Building Society. Migrating high priority .Net service Operations and updating it to Datapower and IIB v10

Essential skills and experience

1) Understands and has extensive experience of leading an architecture team in a middleware / integration environment with a delivery focus

2) Should have a background in BPM, IIB, Data Power etc - in essence the stack for middleware, plus microservices

3) Should be experienced enough to run the Architectural Governance functions (particularly the Design Authority)

4) Have a pragmatic delivery perspective and the ability to mentor and coach the team of Architects / Designers both on and off shore in the appropriate solutions

5) Be able to work with senior stakeholders with the ability to present and be persuasive when technical / architectural decisions need to be made

6) Be proactive and actively seek areas to improve the efficiency of the middleware factory

Tools / Technologies Required

  • Middleware services design preferably using IIB and BPM Advanced.
  • REST/WSDL design experience
  • Design experience of BPMN, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams
  • Familiar with REST or WSDL Design Experience in designing IIB and BPM components.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Ability to use Rational Software Architecture (RSA) in particular for UML Modelling
  • Able to design BPMN, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams etc.
  • Ability to interpret XML Schemas Use of HP ALM for defect management
