Insight Manager - Research Manager, Customer Insight, Not-for-profit, Public Sector.

Holborn, Central London - 12 months fixed term - £40,000 plus benefits (Pension, Private Health Care, Life Assurance, and more)

Are you an experienced Insight Manager who has experience working within the Public or Third Sector? Do you have a passion for delivering a high standard of Customer Insight?

If this sound like you we are looking to recruit an Insight Manager for a personal finance consumer focused organisation, who operate on a not for profit basis. Based in the company office in London, you will play a key role in being the organisations expert in a specific field of insight. You will take full ownership of key strategic research projects from commissioning to project management, and presentation of insights.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Commission robust and high quality market research that brings insight to the organisations heart.
  • Ensure the day to day management of key sights projects, engage directly with internal and external stakeholders whilst working both qualitative and quantitative in nature.
  • Making objective use of qualitative and quantitative data, business information and knowledge to ensure innovative and accurate insights that stand up to external scrutiny are delivered to the business
  • Effective management of internal stakeholders and external research agencies and partners.
  • Becoming the owner and subject matter expert for a strand of the business plan - for this role, the individual will be working closely with all elements of financial capability, particularly savings and budgeting.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant experience in working in market research either in an agency or client side role.
  • Deep knowledge and demonstrable practical application of conducting or managing primary research projects, ideally with experience in both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Ability to manage third party agencies effectively.
  • Solid project management and delivery skills.
  • Experience of engaging and working with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
  • Solid capability in customer-focused insight gathering and analysis, market research and performance evaluation methodologies, systems and practices.

All vacancies are advertised as equally available to all working patterns and are not restricted to full time working unless there is a strong business justification.

Salaries are given on a full time basis, and will be adjusted for those working less than full time.
