Job Role:

  • You will take all our available customer data and, using your amazing analytical skills, come up with clear, actionable insight that drives our business goals. You'll be brilliant at talking people through what you have found, helping them understand what action to take next.
  • You will drive forward our tools and capabilities, enabling new techniques and solving problems with our data usage, passing on your knowledge to Analysts and power users across the business
  • You will encourage, train and nurture a group of optimisation specialists around the business to find their own testing opportunities, to train them to manage the build, QA and to conduct the analysis.
  • You will also use your learnings to drive the on-site testing, targeting and personalisation strategy in order to optimise our online experiences across all online journeys
  • Investigate specific issues and propose solutions by analysing data from a wide range of sources including digital analytics data, voice of the customer and call centre data.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis in all aspects of the digital journey to pull out trends, opportunities and issues to inform the optimisation of the digital channel
  • Prepare presentations that are creative and engaging and communicate them brilliantly to stakeholders, making sure they can turn your recommendations into actions
  • Train users to encourage self-service of analytics and optimisation.
  • Manage digital optimisation streams including AB, & Multi-Variant (MVT) tests, personalisation and session replay initiatives across multiple platforms
  • Develop understanding of digital customer journeys and how we can use targeting and personalisation to improve satisfaction and/or conversion
  • Work closely with UX/CX, design, content, Analytics teams, etc. to scope out tests, document requirements, create hypotheses, develop variations to test, build tests and thoroughly QA them.
  • Drive continuous optimisation through ongoing measurement and performance reporting of the targeting, testing and personalisation programmes

What skills and experience will you need?

  • Experience using AB Testing / MVT tools
  • Adobe Analytics Premium and Adobe Target experience essential
  • JavaScript experience desirable
  • Background in turning data into actionable insight
  • Proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • An understanding of how analytics can be used to improve marketing performance and user experience
  • Experience of session replay tools
  • Mathematical and statistical experience or background
  • This role will involve high level stakeholder management where you will need exceptional communication and influencing skills.

  • Have a flexible approach and fast to learn new skills / work with new tools
  • Be well organised with a systematic approach to work and close attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines
