Infrastructure Team Manager / Service Desk Manager - Newport - £35,000- £40,000

My leading Government client is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Team Manager to join their team in Newport. Within this position you will work alongside the Service Desk Operations Manager and will be key in defining and driving exciting technical and cultural/behavioural changes to ensure Operational Excellence. The successful applicant should be innovative and have the energy and motivation to lead these changes from the front.

You will have line manager responsibilities for a team of engineers and will be focused on leading and managing the day to day performance of the Service Desk ensuring that KPI's are met and dealing with customer escalations and incidents as required. You will have a real drive and passion for user experience, employee enablement and continuous improvement, along with strong people management skills and proven experience managing a large Service Desk.
