Infrastructure Project Manager - Customer Facing

We are actively looking to secure an Infrastructure Project Manager to join Experis.

Job description:

Our Client is looking for a Technical Project Manager for a Cloud/Data centre build workstream. This individual will have focus and drive to lead to completion the build workstream of architects and engineers to deliver:

  • AWS cloud completed PEN test and all service acceptance activity
  • Two 3rd party hosted DC build on Cisco UCS and ACI technology PEN test and all service acceptance activity
  • Alignment of build with Operating Model and Migration workstreams

The role does require at least 4 days per week on customer site in Coventry with frequent face to face time with the customer and the IT programme delivery team.

  • Responsible for controlling and managing a team of around 18 resources including architects and build engineers
  • Manages resources/issues/risks and finances for the application migration track
  • Deliverables management
  • Project planning
  • Financial management
  • RAID management
  • Resource management
  • Manage communications from the team
  • Manage customer engagement for the Cloud build workstream
  • Weekly reporting
  • Reports to the Program Director

Formal Qualifications:

  • Prince 2 accredited or equivalent
