The work location is in ASTON and is a 6 month contract. Pay Rate is between 575 - 620 Per Day.

Must Have Essential Key skills & Background:

  • Experienced at producing multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in an Enterprise & cloud environment adhering to DR, Business Continuity and availability best practice
  • Understanding of Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models
  • Familiarity with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools
  • Experience with executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development
  • Executing limited POCs, where necessary
  • Good working knowledge of processes and procedures (like ITIL)
  • Expert knowledge of DevOps concepts and aspects
  • Exposure and understanding - automated build pipeline, continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Experience of Ansible environments
  • Previous experience of Unix, Linux and Windows Shell scripting and administration
  • Familiarity with Cloud Formation and JSON.
  • Familiarity with logging systems including Splunk, Logstash and GrayLog
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools including Nagios, Tivoli TEM etc
  • Familiarity with revision control source code repositories (Git, GitLab, SVN)
  • Familiarity of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity
  • Familiarity of release automation tools such as Microfocus Serena or CA Automic
  • Familiarity of Infrastructure as Code principles and practice
  • Familiarity of Infrastructure testing tools such as Testinfra
  • Familiarity of Run Automation servers like Rundeck
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium, JMeter)
  • Familiarity of AWS or Azure platform features and capabilities
  • Thorough background on general infrastructure components like Networking, Server platforms, storage, application structure (2-tier, 3-tier), Identity, Security (Encryption, PKI), load balancing.
  • Excellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal
  • Excellent consultancy skills
  • Ability to perform and conduct workshops and meetings to develop client solutions
  • Must be fully flexible and mobile across the UK for extended periods and potentially across the Capgemini Group


  • The InfraOps Architect will engage closely with application development teams, clients, partners and Internal business units to develop and deliver innovative and competitive solutions / projects for new and existing clients. They will leverage their wealth of previous experience in DevOps and Infrastructure architecture to create target state Architectures, reference Architectures and oversee project delivery.
