Information Security Analyst

Initial 3 Months


£300 - £360 per day

Day to Day Role:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all Security consultancy provided to the business and projects is timely and meets the company requirements;
  • Support the timely assessment, raising, submitting and tracking to closure of local Security Risk
    Acceptance Forms (SRAFs) arising from business as usual and projects
  • Contribute to cross functional collaboration and innovation to raise the capability, efficiency and performance of the Information Security Team
  • Support in the management of security programs across the main company and its subsidiaries
    Contribute towards the security assessment of company projects
  • Support in security risk management tasks
  • Support the security audit process
  • Assist in the production of security reporting packs


A degree level qualification in a related discipline (i.e. Security, Computing, Information Systems) or equivalent work experience
Relevant professional qualifications (i.e. SSCP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, MIISP) are desirable but not essential.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience in security domains such as architecture, logging & monitoring tools, data leakage, reporting metrics and risk management
  • Very effective communication, interpersonal skills and behaviours
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly, clearly identify key issues and present information concisely
  • The ability to learn and develop your skills and understanding across a broad range of topics
  • Ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts across the business
  • Ability to independently manage your work load
  • Able to lead programs as well as be a team player
  • Be organised and able to coordinate / track programs of work


  • Previous experience in a role in the areas of Audit, IT or Change is desirable
  • Previous business and / or security and risk experience in a large commercial organisation
