Incident Manager - Portsmouth - 6 Months+

My Client is seeking an Incident Manager to work in Portsmouth for an initial 6 months with scope for extension.

As part of the role you will:-

  • Detect incidents and access the priority in accordance with the impact and severity matrix.
  • Based on the above, you will raise on near real-time basis, the incidents to the Authority, End Users or Third Parties that are impacted.
  • Support the Major Incident Response Teams.
  • Raise or lower the Incident Priority level assigned to an Incident as directed by the Authority.
  • Look into how incidents similar to the relevant Incident can be avoided, or the likelihood of their occurrence minimised, in the future.
  • How the impact of such Incidents can be minimised.
  • How existing processes can be changed to increase the likelihood of such Incident being resolved via First Time Fix.
  • Logging the Incident and taking no further action, if there is no impact.
  • Update Incident Records in near-real time.

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered
