HTML Email Developer - London (remote) - 2 months

The work location is remote and will be on an ad-hoc basis.

The pay rate on offer is £250 per day.

The role is working for a large multinational high-street retailer.

Key responsibilities

  • Creating industry leading email campaigns
  • Building out responsive email templates from scratch as well as optimising emails
  • Using data to deploying emails across segments
  • Working with 3rd party agencies
  • A/B testing campaigns across multiple territories
  • Implementing triggered emails and keeping them up to date
  • Quality control checks / troubleshooting rendering
  • Suggesting and implementing continual improvement for email designs
  • Share email best practices & innovations with the team (AI, code efficiencies, kinetic, image optimisation)

Key skills

  • Excellent knowledge and extensive experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (a Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification would be ideal but not required): email studio, content builder, mobile studio, journey builder, automation studio, display studio (Einstein would be good but not essential)
  • Hands on experience in building emails (HTML and CSS) essential
  • Experience using rendering tools especially Litmus
  • Experience using AMPscript for email builds preferable
  • Experience of using Phrasee for subject line optimisation would be good but not essential
  • Experience of sending SMS and Push messages would be good but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly QA your own work
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop/Dreamweaver a bonus
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to cope well in a busy environment and manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders at any one time
  • Strong time management and communication skills - working with other members of the CRM, Marketing, and creative teams to deliver campaigns on time.
  • Experience segmenting and tracking emails and using the data accordingly
