HR Business Partner
Global Engineering Organisation
A leading engineering organisation and market leader across multiple industries is looking to recruit a HRBP into their land division. This part of the business provides critical support to the UK MOD across a number of sites in the UK. As a business they are undergoing significant change and have created this position to help support the transformation.
You will have the opportunity to work in a close and highly supportive team whilst focusing on strategic initiatives. If you are currently a senior HR Advisor looking for your next role this could be a great opportunity to move up.

  • Responsible for the relationship between HR and the business area and own the client relationship. Lead HR representation on local business governing forums.
  • Responsible for bringing evidence-based practice into the business area and addressing the people challenges for their area of expertise.
  • Support organisation effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to strategy.
  • Lead the HR vision for the business area, including role modelling great personal and team leadership and taking an active role in ensuring the HR Operating Model is embedded successfully.
  • Contribute to, and where accountable define policies and processes that support the business area people strategy and objectives.
  • Use and understand organisation's tools and policies, engaging with business area clients effectively to ensure their use across the business area.
  • Drive consistency of approach across the business area (and in collaboration with other areas) in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future organisational needs.
  • Work closely with all HR colleagues to ensure that tools and policies are aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.


  • Chartered MCIPD, or equivalent educational achievement (Level 5) plus experience.
  • Is personally credible, can provide examples at senior levels /multiple disciplines across the organisation that validate HR expertise and how strategic aims have been met.
  • Ability to build relationships and work in partnership with leadership, to link business objectives to HR deliverables.
  • non-confrontational way to improve organisational performance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to provide commercially focused HR solutions.
