HR Advisor - Heathrow - 6 month FTC

A successful and ever growing FTSE 100 engineering support services organisation is looking to take on a HR Advisor to join a busy and challenging environment within the airports industry.

The Job

To provide a professional operational HR advice and support service for the Airports business who are currently undergoing a transformational change to a shared services model. A HR Advisor is needed to assist with this change and bridge the gap during this transitional period.

The HR Advisor will contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring sound and accurate advice is provided in respect of these. The HR Advisor will be committed to the continuous improvement of the HR Team and service, playing an active part in ensuring an effective and efficient HR Service delivery from themselves and the collective HR Team.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for activities across a variety of functional areas including Departmental Development, HR Information Systems, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Organisation Development, Executive Administration, and Employment. The HR Advisor provides a professional first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has a high level of resilience as the working environment can be challenging at times. It is imperative that the individual remain fluid and have the ability to deal with difficult conflicts when required.

The Requirements

Essential

  • Experience of handling conflict management
  • Experience in large operational businesses/industries
  • Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Evidence of engagement and motivation of personnel/teams
  • Liaising with managers and stakeholders at all levels
  • High emotional resilience
  • Must remain fluid and flexible

Desirable

  • CIPD / part CIPD qualified.
  • Experience working in the Airport Industry
  • Hold a full UK Manual driving Licence
  • Experience working with Trade Unions
