HR Advisor - 32-38k - Park Royal - FTSE100 Global Orgainsation - Flexible Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join a prestigious FTSE 100 Engineering company based near Park Royal. The HR Advisor will initially focus on employee relations specifically absence management and they will consider a generalist who has experience within this field. This exciting opportunity will give you the opportunity to develop whilst working for a FTSE 100 global organisation.

Role and responsibilities include:

Employee Relations/ Reward

  • Provide ER specialist advice and support face to face and over the telephone.
  • Advice on practical implementation of policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the day to day management of the Sickness Absence case load and ensuring all cases are managed consistently and in accordance with HR policy and best practice.
  • End to end support for Line Managers on ER issues with a specific focus on Sickness Absence and advise on interpretation of HR policy, procedure and best practice
  • Build strong working partnerships across the business and with key stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team, Managers and internal teams.
  • Protect the information assets of the Company and comply with the Company's Information Assurance policies and procedures at all times.
  • To work within established Company policies and procedures.
  • Promote company values and standards and exhibit appropriate behaviour in accordance with Company ethos.
  • Use talent and ability to encourage achievement and continuous improvement.
  • To demonstrate safety, integrity & commitment at all times.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs.

  • Proven experience of supporting managers through general Employee Relations issues with specific knowledge in Sickness Absence management
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
