Babcock Mission Critical Services are currently recruiting for a well-rounded HR Generalist to join their team in Dyce on a permanent basis to provide HR guidance and support to the business.

About this role
The HR Advisor role is highly independent in a fast-paced environment. It is an exciting role where the incumbent will have freedom and autonomy to shape delivery based on the Business partnering model. The customer groups are a set of diverse and committed professionals with high standards.

The HR advisor is part of a wider specialist team which is geographically dispersed.

Main Tasks

You will provide guidance and support to Line Managers in situations of organisational change such as but not limited to Redundancy, Disciplinary and Grievance, onboarding, Offboarding, probations etc along with assisting the Departmental Heads in the Recruitment and Selection process to ensure best practice is followed.

You will be responsible for the HR processes in relation to new employees to ensure they are fully integrated into the Company through the Induction process and are aware of and comply with benefit provisions, policies and procedures of the organisation.

Ensure the Induction, HR policies and procedures and are up to date to reflect current Employment Law Regulations and organisation requirements, as well as inputting personnel data into the HRIS, ensuring that systems align with Company and regulatory requirements.

This is a true HR Generalist role covering the full employee lifecycle including processing of benefits, managing any ER casework as well as supporting any HR change activities - whilst at all times ensuring a robust and approachable HR Service is available to operational staff and management.

What do I need to do the role?
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) - two of which must be at least a C grade in English and Mathematics.

Ideally have achieved a Foundation CIPD qualification with a desire to or currently working towards Intermediate or Advanced CIPD qualification

Proven track record in an HR Generalist role, where responsible for guiding and advising managers as well as HR tasks such as payroll, ER, D&G etc.

We would also like someone with good communication skills, an approachable demeanour and good organisational skills to self-manage workload in line with business expectations.
