HR Administrator - £25,000 - £28,000 + Benefits

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit a HR Administrator to support the development, management and continuous improvement of the apprentice and graduate attraction, recruitment, induction and development programme.

What do I need to do the role?

Experience in managing the administration associated with apprentice and graduate recruitment and development programmes, demonstrable experience in the development of materials associated with the recruitment and development of apprentices and graduates and experience in coordinating and managing activities associated with recruitment and development, including organisation of participation in careers fairs and assessment centres etc. If you have a degree, this will be beneficial.


Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Support the development and deployment of apprentice and graduate attraction, recruitment, induction and development supporting tools, guidelines and templates in order to ensure consistency of application across the sector complying with the Babcock Group approach.
  • Assist effective interface across the sector for all apprentice and graduate attraction, recruitment, induction and development processes and methodologies to retain standardisation of approach.
  • Provide assistance to improve the provision of HR collateral associated with apprentice and graduate attraction, recruitment, induction and development, in order to ensure that Babcock is considered an employer of choice for future talent.
  • Support the development of materials associated with the recruitment and development of apprentices and graduates, ensuring availability in a timely manner and to the required standard to maximise attraction and development.
  • Develop and coordinate STEM activities and Careers Fairs on behalf of the sector, supporting STEM Ambassadors to drive raising awareness about the opportunities and benefits that can be gained to encourage a diversity of applications.
  • Coordinate and manage all activities associated with assessment centres and interviews, in order to ensure the smooth running of such activities as well as a positive candidate and assessor experience.
  • Manage all candidate communication through the attraction, recruitment and induction process and act as a point of contact for all employed graduate and apprentice day to day, queries to provide assurance and clarity where necessary.
  • Produces management information as required in support of the business decision making processes.
  • Support the broader team as required to coordinate activities such as leadership development and talent.

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
