Shared Services Team Leader (12 month FTC)SF 31448Business Unit - Energy & MarineLocation: RosythSalary: £30162 - £35784Flexible working About the Role Here are Babcock we are looking to recruit a Shared Services Team Leader. As HRSS continues to develop and streamline the administration processes across Rosyth and Clyde this role is to manage the day to day customer service delivery of the HR shared service Time and Attendance and Payroll for our HR colleagues as well as our line managers and employees. This is a line management position and therefore you will be required to undertake performance reviews, as well as measuring and monitoring our adherence to deadlines and set KPI's. For the foreseeable future this will be a home based role, offering complete flexibility in both hours and days worked. Your Key Responsibilities will include: Manage the Shared Services Time and Attendance and Payroll teamsManage HR Shared Services processes and Time and Attendance system updates ensuring compliance internal policies as well as ensuring that the team hit the KPI's and associated deadlines.Provide first line advice and guidance to line management regarding general Time and Attendance and Payroll issues such that all queries are resolved and line management are informed of the appropriate procedure course of action, knowing when to engage with HRA's and BP's when required.Project work including system upgrades, fault finding, data accuracy.Ensure good relationships with the Payroll manager for all Clyde and Rosyth Payroll's including monthly round up calls and the escalation of high level payroll issues. What do I need to do the role? You will need to hold 5 GCSE's including English and Mathematics We would also like to have the following: Sound management and team skillsMethodical and organised and ability to operate under own initiativeExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees and managementCustomer focusedA knowledge of payroll would be beneficial What else do I need to know? You should hold or have the ability to obtain full SC Clearance.
