A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Hire, Lease and Fleet Administration Supervisor to join a FTSE 100 Organisation based in Park Royal, to provide a consistent hiring and lease service for, car, van, truck, coach and plant equipment solutions for the Metropolitan Police Service. This supervisory role will also require managing a small team of fleet administrators. This role will entail ensuring that a total solution is provided to the customer by ensuring all legal requirements are met and that both short term and long solutions are managed and reported upon correctly.

Primary responsibilities include;

  • Meeting the hire and lease demand of the Metropolitan Police Service 24/7/365
  • Arrange the lease or hire of plant, van and truck solutions
  • Manage the fleet administration team
  • Managing Supplier Relationships
  • Ensuring that the vehicles supplied are always legal
  • Arrange for quotes and provision of long term lease arrangements
  • Hire damage management

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous experience of the Hire and Lease industry
  • Previous history in a supervisory role
  • Working in a large organisation
  • Positive and motivated individual with a key interest in helping people
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer/ supplier relationships
  • Working in stressful environments
  • Working with a complex customer
  • Experience of training
  • Being a team player within a larger organisation
