Head of the CIO Office sought by an industry leader in the field of Digital Healthcare and Medical Technology. As part of this growth they are looking to appoint a Head of the CIO Office to act as a trusted advisor and delivery partner to help drive and facilitate digital transformation. This is a highly varied role, with responsibilities including:Supporting the CIO in shaping and running Technology Services, deputising as appropriate.Heading-up Delivery Management, establishing ways of delivering effective and transparently to both time and budget.Budgetary responsibility for modelling and managing Technology spend, including working across the business to understand both actual spend, and future needs and capacity. Also working with Finance and Procurement to refresh the Supply Chain as the organisation moves into a new phase of delivery and operating.Sign-off accountability for Agile work packages with external vendors, ensuring value and benefits.Portfolio management, identifying dependencies and gaps to enable proactive resolution.Working with HR and other Execs to help drive organisational change and a revised operating model.Continuous communication of vision, objectives and milestones, both internally as well as with external partners and stakeholders.
