Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading Global Technology and Development organisation for an experienced product / portfolio management professional to join their CTO Group to provide high energy and innovative leadership of a newly created technical and capability function.

This is a key role within the business with strong Executive level sponsorship and backing, where we are looking for an Individual to come on board to drive forward and lead the maturation of the technology strategy for the Group and to develop and implement product and portfolio road mapping and delivery methodologies to be more Agile in nature when taking products and solutions to market.

Some key deliverables of this role are -

  • Own, define and evolve the Technology & Innovation Strategy across the group, and promote internally and externally group capabilities and engage with the market and partners to bring our Solutions to Industry
  • Provide leadership of growth and emerging technology capabilities by ensuring the business has the right capability to meet the emerging market needs. And improve productivity and innovation, through reuse to benefit our customers
  • Own academic partnerships on behalf of the business, act as a central broker to ensure we are getting best use out of our partnerships as well as identify new academic partnership opportunities
  • Lead, develop and grow a team of c25 and cost manage c£10m of an investment portfolio

The successful candidate for this role will need to be able to evidence the following:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution with direct experience of writing compelling strategic content
  • Must be able to evidence prior track record of successfully leading product to market or portfolios in a commercially focused delivery environment - especially with evidence of growing a diverse capability portfolio
  • It would be of particular interest to see candidates from environments such as Research & Development, New Product Introduction (Technology), Service Integrators, TelCo or ITSM backgrounds - so long as been delivering technology focused change, solutions and products as opposed to business transformation
  • Senior stakeholder influencing skills up to MD level
  • Prior experience in Go-to-Market strategy
  • Partner Management and evidence of growth through Partner led engagement models
  • Able to gain and maintain UK SC Level Security Clearance
  • Flexible for UK and International travel as required by demands of the role
