Role: Head of Reporting Innovation

We are actively looking to secure an experienced Head of Reporting to join Experis.

Group Business Intelligence is a new function within our clients Finance area, established to ensure that the Finance leadership team have the right information, analysis and insight to help them achieve their strategic goals. This important new role is both strategic and technical in nature and will become a focal point in the new Group BI team.

The role will involve leading the design and delivery of a Reporting, Tools and Data strategy and roadmap that transforms how BI is delivered. You will develop new metrics, reporting and applications to improve understanding of performance and establish governance practises & processes to manage the Finance information catalogue. You will also lead the programme to rationalise and automate the legacy reporting landscape.

Essential Experience:

  • Familiarity with finance terminology
  • Experience leading and growing a BI function within a large organisation
  • Expert understanding of reporting and data best practice and market-leading BI tools
  • Brilliant stakeholder management and relationship building skills. Adept at interacting with senior executives and adapting style to different audiences
  • Technical data skillset - SQL, SAP, Qlik
  • A commercial understanding

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in Telecoms or Financial domain
  • SQL
  • SAP
  • Qlik view/sense
  • Experience in cloud based date provisioning/hosting with Amazon or Google
