Key responsibilitiesShaping and setting our platform and partnership strategy, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, and through developing robust, evidence-backed business casesDriving our device proposition: device portfolio, app line-up, merchandising agreements, commercial terms and product integration strategy; in close collaboration with our Product and Technology teamsShape our aggregation strategy, including identifying new apps to launch and leading on direct negotiations with app partnersDay to day ownership of key strategic partnerships, including Roku - our white label hardware partner; App content partnerships, including the Public Service Broadcasters, Netflix and YouTubeDeliver benefits of aggregation & product integration to increase customer lifetime value and unlock new monetisation streamsEnsure that deals are implemented in the spirit of what was agreed and in accordance to agreed timescales by working closely with internal teams (e.g. technology)Align and collaborate with colleagues and teams across the Group on commercial, product integration strategies and plansYour SkillsStrategic mindset with ability to develop robust business cases. Experience from a recognised strategy consulting firm is a plusSolid experience in a large media or digital organisation in a relevant function such as content acquisition, commercial strategy, proposition, app store management/distribution, product ownershipExcellent commercial judgement and experience managing complex negotiations with content and app partnersGood media industry knowledge and experience working with technology platforms and product teams, ideally within the OTT/D2C sectorHigh energy, strong personal driveGrowth mindset and the ability to manage and support a small growing teamExcellent communicator, with the ability and confidence to influence internal and external stakeholders and to build strong relationshipsStrong team player keen to work across departments and collaborate effectivelyFlexible attitude, appreciating that the competitive landscape is constantly evolving and with ability to adapt approach accordinglyPlease submit CVs today!
