Experis are pleased to be working with a fast growing entrepreneurial telecommunications company who are looking for a highly driven and energetic Head of FP&A to join their expanding accounting team. Based out of their prestigious HQ offices, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to work within a dynamic business environment and undertake this high-profile role which will play an instrumental part in strategically growing the business.

The Position:

  • Working closely with the CFO, budget holders and key stakeholders to drive improvements relating to financial reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute heavily to a 10 year project plan, budget value of £30bn across the organisation
  • You will be required to provide forecasts, quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
  • Responsible for Preparing financial reports, analysing, formatting, and presenting information for senior executives
  • Responsible for evaluating new projects and investment opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and the CFO to build budgets and forecasts of future company performance
  • You will act as the main point of contact for investors, the business is building investment in automation and innovation.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the CFO

The Person

  • The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified with significant PQE.
  • A strong working knowledge of accounting practice IFRS essential
  • You will have a background in a FP&A or commercial roles with prior experience of financial analysis planning within either telecommunications, infrastructure or Construction lead organisations.
  • You will have gained exposure to all business areas including Investors, Banks and Shareholders.
  • You will demonstrate a high level of initiative with a proven track record of delivering results to deadlines and excellent communication/influencing skills across all levels of seniority.
  • You will be a confident user IT systems including MS Office Excel and financial accounting software.
