HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - MARITIME
c.£75,000 - £85,000 + 10% Car Allowance (up to £8,000) + Bonus

A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available due to a company expansion.
You will be responsible for the sales aspects of the repeat and follow-on-sales business (run-rate opportunities) in line with Group and Business Order Intake targets
You will also be responsible for managing the performance of the Maritime, Land and Weapons Business Development team
Identifying where sales effort is best directed, managing, motivating and leading the BDMs
Managing the development and implementation of sales initiatives and ensuring appropriate resourcing and delivery will be a key part of your role
As the Head of BD - Maritime the direct leadership and performance management of a team of circa 10 BD professionals will sit with you
You must have a background within the defence sector and more specifically maritime
An excellent record of business development within the defence sector
Strong people management skills, evidence of driving a sales team and sales pipeline
