I am recruiting an experience Group Strategy Analyst to work for a FTSE 100 Engineering Support Services Organisation.

This role is to join the Group Corporate Development Team which covers corporate strategy, acquisitions, business development pipeline reporting and liaison with the Cabinet Office. The team reports to the CEO and CFO, which currently consists of only two others and works closely with other parts of the business as well as the other teams within Head Office.

Activities are likely to include:

  • Corporate strategy projects
  • Identifying acquisition targets and supporting acquisition processes
  • Running the annual strategy review process
  • Produce presentations and analysis for the Executive Committee and PLC Board
  • Developing ideas for new business activities
  • Ad-hoc analysis for CEO and CFO

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Strong undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Maths, Finance, Business or similar discipline
  • Between two to four years experience in a strategy consultancy or in-house strategy team
  • Experience of secondary market research
  • Experiences of analysing data or financial modelling in excel
  • Will have successfully engaged across the levels of an organisation from senior management and tactical personnel
  • Highly commercial and pragmatic
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ambitious to grow within the organisation
