About Us

Our client is a company of over 6,000 dedicated people providing technological and scientific expertise, we are excited to recruit the most talented and enthusiastic people to become key parts of our business. With a dedicated career pathways framework and a focused professional development process, we are committed to supporting our employees to continuously develop and grow their skills and careers.

We provide Subject Matter Expertise in support of the development and provision of new and upgraded mission system's capabilities primarily within the Air and Joint C2 domains but expanding to provide solutions pan-domain. Primarily working in defence, we have several roles to offer, across all levels of experience, within the Mission Systems domain (including expertise in on-platform systems, mission planning and other support systems, and interoperability) that will ensure the UK's capability both now and in the future.

The Role

We're looking for the next generation of Engineers, Scientists and Mathematicians to become part of an expanding team of Mission System's experts, influencing the way Mission Systems are designed and operate in ever more complex environments. At the heart of our Mission Systems Solutions capability is an ability to manage and make sense of data to provide meaningful and timely information. You'll become expert in gathering, processing, assimilation and fusion of data, and the exploitation of the resultant information for use in the on-board, off-board and interoperability areas which may include:

  • Sensor and Data Fusion for defence systems including Combat Identification and Rules of Engagement processes
  • System Integration, specifically considering data and information flow and management;
  • Interoperability through secure data links and voice comms
  • System performance prediction, assessment and trials data analysis
  • Mission Data: operational mission data settings, mission data tools, and business processes; for building, testing, deploying and reprogramming mission data.
  • To be successful we're looking for individuals with strong technical foundations, which may include a relevant Physics, Engineering, Computing or Mathematics degree, we would also be open to relevant experience in a technical role

The Person
