Experis are working with a well known Financial Services organisation and are looking to contract an experienced Training Manager to assist in the set up a training hub for the Governance Engagement team. The successful candidate will have expertise within setting up training materials and liaising with experts to help generate high quality content.

Title: Training Manager (Governance Engagement & Operations Team)

Location: Remote/Nottingham or London

Length: 3 months initial engagement (12 months overall)

Rate: £650 (via umbrella)

Our Architecture Governance & Operations Team run the Architecture Governance Process. The process involves interaction with numerous stakeholders, and we wish to ensure that the process is as easy as possible to navigate. We require someone to help build an education and awareness programme on how to interact with the team and the process, how to effectively navigate through the process and to provide training and assistance in how to use the various tools, templates, and artefacts that we provide to our users.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing an Architecture Governance & Operations education and awareness curriculum / strategy
  • Creation of Architecture Governance & Operations 'Engagement & Learning Hub' in SharePoint
  • Eliciting relevant information from SMEs, producing content to be included in the learning hub and delivering the material
  • Liaising with 3rd party (where required) to produce high-quality material
  • Liaising with Communications Manager to ensure all new training material / events are promoted
  • Delivery of occasional training sessions / 'lunch and learns' / master classes
  • Define how the learning hub will be delivered and kept 'fresh' on an on-going basis

Background:

  • Experience of acting as a Training Manager
  • Experience in setting up training hubs
  • Able to deliver training sessions
  • Comfortable working with 3rd party organisations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
