Job Title: Functional Analyst
Provision of Ellucian Banner Functional Analyst resources
The service will entail taking ownership of customer support issues as assigned, providing feedback and updates to customers, developing knowledge of customer's business, procedures and ensuring all Service Level Agreements are met. As well as providing input and support to any Change Controls assigned including
- Conduct training needs analysis and create and deliver end use training sessions (within the Institutes. Create/update training manuals and user guides.
- Create functional specs and release notes
- Support the overall change request process and release management process
- Interpret functional specifications
- Perform functional testing
- Provide support during UAT.
- Provide post-implementation support
- Support any ancillary reporting requirements.
Drive and support application support issues through to completion
- Analsysis of bugs in Banner application
- Liaise with Technical/Development Team
- Identify opportunities to improve Banner configuration
- Interface with customers/institutes
- Work with set of defined standards
- Indetification of and communication of problems and recommended solutions
- Meet agreed Services Level Agreements
- Meet test deadlines
- ITIL aware
