We currently have a requirement for a number of experienced JavaScript developers to work for one of our key consultancy clients. This is the short description is for a full stack Java Script developer to develop fixes for incidents and change requests for cloud native application, creating build releases. The resource will split their time between 3rd line code fixes on support and in projects developing new services.
What we want from you:
- Full stack Javascript Node.js, and Hapi frameworks/restful APIs
- Immediate experience of Cloud Native Web App development
- Expert knowledge in gitflow
- Expert knowledge in unit test, static code analysis
- BDD/TDD
- Scrum
- Being able to do code reviews / Participate in peer reviews / Code optimisation
- Write highly available, maintainable and secure code.
- Good understanding of Web and Architectural design patterns.
Desirable:
- Azure cloud services
- Good knowledge of Junit, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
- Database knowledge - including code first approach
- Expert knowledge and experience with CI/CD and source code control
- GDS experience (desirable
- Experience in integration with 3rd party applications and some experience of developing authorisation and authentication for apps is desirable
- Knowledge in DevOps is desirable
- Experience in Octopus Deploy, ARM Templates,
- Boot strap, Angular, JQUERY, Hibernate
- Experience in integration of QA automation tools
