Location - Cambridge

Contract - 3 Months

Pay - £400 - £450 per day

We Are Seeking Experienced Engineers With Demonstrable Talent Around:

  • Accessing and querying our data (think REST APIs, IDaaS, SSO, O365/SharePoint applications),
  • Applying relevancy methods to describe, discover, organise, analyse our data
  • Delighting our awesome colleagues (the end customer) with in-time access to data/information from across our internal portfolio of systems worldwide (think SharePoint, SAP Success factors, Atlassian products, internal social media as examples we can write about here…there are lots more!).
  • Front-end technologies including: HTML4/5, CSS3, JavaScript with a commitment to frictionless user journeys
  • An ability to `switch' and develop both the front end and back end services.
  • Emphasis on automation, automation, automation!
  • Experienced working in small high-performing, self-starting team aligned to non-technical product owners.


  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and principals of responsive design.
  • Strong Front-End Framework Architecture and how to use and optimize them.
  • Backend Application and API development experience ideally in Java/Spring Boot/MuleSoft.
  • You build tested code, which operates within our CI/CD pipeline (Git/GitFlow, Jenkins, and Selenium).
  • Experience with cache technology (Memcached, Redis)
  • Demonstrable understanding of coding standards and guidelines for various languages and a desire to construct beautiful code.
  • Good understanding of APIs, how to effective build and run.
  • Able to independently translate designs (e.g. wireframes, mock-ups, and requirements documents) to engineering teams.
  • Understands key principles of design thinking, what it is and why it is important, and how technology can be used in the process to explore possibilities. Explores all ideas, regardless of their source.
  • Translates user-centred design requirements into technical implementations for projects.
  • Understand of factors that could influencing performance of application and Microservices.
