Job role:

  • Delivering briefings, lessons & lectures, exercises and assessment material
  • It is expected that individuals might specialise in either fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, manned or unmanned.
  • The design, delivery validation and assessment of Fixed Wing/and or Rotary Wing Ground School instruction

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Participating in Course Development and Course Progress including developing bespoke short courses
  • Validating Ground School theory and data analysis aspects of student exercise reports
  • Assisting in the development and updating of documentation and briefing materials for ETPS exercises including the ETPS Students' Handbook and the ETPS Tutors' Handbook

Responsibilities:

  • The design, delivery validation and assessment of Fixed Wing/and or Rotary Wing Ground School instruction
  • Providing tutorial assistance to support flying or simulator exercises
  • Validating Ground School theory and data analysis aspects of student exercise reports
  • Participating in Course Development and Course Progress including developing bespoke short courses
  • Contributing to student reporting requirements
  • Delivering briefings, lessons & lectures, exercises and assessment material
  • Tailoring syllabus and course material to meet syllabus requirements
  • Providing individual guidance, feedback and encouragement to help each individual develop learning skills
  • Assisting in the development and updating of documentation and briefing materials for ETPS exercises including the ETPS Students' Handbook and the ETPS Tutors' Handbook
  • Motivating, enthusing and inspiring students and encouraging them to discuss work and ask questions
  • Flight Dynamics subjects include: Mathematics, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Performance, Flying Qualities, Air Data Systems, the Atmosphere and Flight Control Systems. It is expected that individuals might specialise in either fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, manned or unmanned.
