As Financial Controller, you will form part of the Finance leadership team, responsible for a team who offer best in class finance support to the business. You will embed a positive working culture and be experienced in a supporting a team based remotely. You will be hands on but also have the ability to contribute at a senior level offering your strategic and commercial acumen.

About your new role

Key accountabilities include:

  • Annual budgeting/forecasting process
  • Month End preparation and Reporting
  • Ensuring all variances are analysed, understood, challenged and appropriate actions put in place to improve
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
  • Ensuring full control and governance
  • Improvements of processes and procedures
  • Business Partnering with multiple stakeholders
  • Management of a team of 5 based over various sites
  • Providing financial support for bids and proposals.

About you

You will have a proven track record in a similar finance leadership role, ideally within a global corporate environment. You will have strong financial controls and process improvement experience and be able to demonstrate implementing robust and accurate processes.

  • Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Several years in financial management positions
  • Sound IT skills including cloud based ERP and CRM systems.
  • The ability to play both a strategic and hands-on role
  • Be flexible to sometimes work outside UK office hours to support an international business.
  • Willingness to travel to overseas offices when required
