We are partnering with our client a leading International Insurance provider to recruit within their UK finance team. Great opportunity for a qualified finance professional to lead the department in becoming an automated process led department.Based out of their London City offices, you will take the lead on supporting the finance ambition to become an automated process led department, through process standardisation, application of new technology and leveraging digitisation and automation opportunities.You will represent the finance department across projects, seek issues, draft solutions and drive agreed implementation. Drive internal efficiency & flexibility initiatives across finance. This role will report to Head of finance and is exposed to senior management and therefore requires high degree of independence.The Person The successful candidate will ideally come from a consulting background with knowledge of end-to-end process design, capture and improvement methodologies - e.g. lean six sigma.You will ideally hold A Master's degree in business engineering, Information technology or business administration, and or ideally with an accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience.Previous experience of working in finance functions ideally within the Insurance industry, but having moved into process improvement, system implementation and wider project work.Possess in depth knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, such as Finance operations, Planning, Forecasting, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting essential.
