Our client is a leading company operating in the telecoms and media market with a prestigious brand and UK household name. A 6 month contract opportunity has arisen in their busy and progressive finance team, based in the City of London, to take the lead on important project.

This project, part of a wider global programme, is to ensure accurate product reporting across all contracts with an emphasis on a specific UK billing system (approximately £750m revenue). The role is to drive change and transformation across the teams and systems and work closely with other business units to ensure accuracy and phase out manual adjustments.

Key duties will include:

  • Responsibility for driving stakeholder engagement and business adoption
  • Working in close partnership and acting as the business lead with multiple business units across the company to ensure the product data is captured in the correct format
  • Leading the implementation of a new reporting data feed from the UK Billing and Finance platforms
  • Assessing that data is at the right level of quality to use and also that the data can replace the existing relevant UK manual reporting revenue data feeds, or to put in place steps to get the product data right at billing source.
  • Ensuring plans are agreed, and then delivered to time and quality
  • Driving the product reference data alignment for the remaining in-scope systems

This would suit an experienced hands on qualified accountant with strong experience dealing in environments with a high level of change. Having strong project experience is a must, as well as being able to cope with a high level of stakeholder management.

You should ideally be immediately available or on a maximum of 2 weeks notice, as this role will start in early January.
