There is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding recruitment consultancy based in the heart of central London. Being a dynamic, savvy and adaptive company, they are seeking just that in the individual who comes in as Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the management of a team of three, and report into the Financial Controller, albeit this is seen as more of a partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line Management of the team.
  • Overseeing AR and AP processes, checking everything is in order and reviewing.
  • Key point of contact with third party stakeholders; banks.
  • Responsible for the month end process and preparation and posting of journals.
  • Review of the balance sheet and P&L at month end. Preparation of month-end pack.
  • Business Partnering with every department to be the Financial Point of Contact.
  • Variance analysis against budget post month-end, identifying and analysing any discrepancies which should be corrected by next month-end, ready for review by the FC.
  • Assist with preparation of materials required for annual audits.
  • Ad-hoc finance analysis queries and projects.
  • Supporting the FC in identifying any continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or finalist.
  • SME experience is required, and experience working within Tech is beneficial.
  • Confident, articulate individual with excellent commercial gravitas to be able to liaise with non-finance departments.
  • Advanced Excel for example Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and Macros.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a calm and personable manner.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering on all aspects of the role.
  • Proactive, independent, strong work ethic.
