We are currently recruiting for a Finance Director within Customer Operations, supporting the Customer Implementation & Professional Services, Process Engineering & Automation and Global Service Escalation & Communication Center functions. The position will be based in London reporting to the Global Head of Finance, Customer Operations and partnering with the Managing Directors for each of the 3 described business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic business partnership to the Functional Heads in support of driving growth and productivity, managing expenses, aligning resources to demand, applying analytical decision making, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Actively support each function to ensure achievement of budget target, through identification of opportunities and risks
  • Produce monthly management reporting for members of the leadership teams; proactively communicate relevant trends and variances
  • Manage the annual budget process
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting by performing detailed variance analysis, reviewing material transactions as appropriate, promoting utilization of appropriate procurement channels, and ensuring application of GAAP
  • Partner with Accounting Operations to ensure reported results are accurate
  • Partner with Customer Proposition finance teams on business cases and other key initiatives impacting the supported functions
  • Work closely with the Process Engineering team to promote innovation and automation activities; ensure related financial commitments are delivered
  • Drive continuous process improvement efforts to enhance timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis
  • Partner with HR business partners to ensure a seamless recruiting and hiring process and to provide the leadership team with guidance as needed
  • Deliver timely and accurate information related to special projects and ad hoc reporting as necessary
  • Participate in various cross-functional teams as required
  • Partner with proposition and technology



Essential Skills and Educational Background:

  • Recognized Advanced Finance qualification with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in a key Finance role
  • Customer focus, highly motivated, and proactive. Tenacious and driven by delivering results
  • Proven ability to interact with senior management and influence outcomes
  • Effective at building working relationships with key stakeholders and shows ability to work effectively across all functions of the business. Enjoys working in teams
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic business support
  • Ability to prepare and deliver financial presentations to senior management
  • Excellent financial modeling, financial planning, analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and to interact with colleagues at various levels across a matrix organization
