Finance Business Partner (Solutions Sales) - Coventry or Nottingham - 4-month contract Our client in the utilities industry requires a Finance Business Partner (Solution Sales) with strong strategic planning, projects and financial reporting experience. Candidates can choose to work in Coventry or Nottingham on an initial 4- month contract. The role: You will be working within an integrated subsidiary, which is responsible for the delivery of B2B solutions in the UK. ResponsibilitiesAs part of your role, you will work closely with members of the finance team to set up a financial perspective to manage the client's integrated business. This includes actuals and forecasting for the wider UK reporting requirements.Reducing time to complete, identify improvements to the process and automation where possible.You will be responsible for implementing improved governance and controls within the commercial function.Ensuring robust business steering and performance management by identifying the KPIs which should be in place.Ensuring the wider finance function is aware of the impact of the integrated subsidiary on their teams and agree on roles and responsibilities such as technical accounting, P&R, treasury, and tax.Key Skills: To succeed in this role, you should have:Worked closely with stakeholders to meet business needs and reporting forecasting roles.Worked collaboratively with team members to shape fit for purpose solutionsHands-on experience of setting up new files and reporting requirementsIn-depth knowledge of ExcelExtensive experience of identifying and implementing process improvement.Additional informationDue to the nature of this role a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) may be required.If this role is of interest to you, please apply at the first instance.
