A Bluechip Plc is currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner to support and challenge the Finance Operations Team and Senior Business Management stakeholders. This position focuses around performance improvement, business analysis and insight, strategic business planning, and budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • You will provide support through provision of analytics that proactively challenge the business on financial performance to drive improvements and you will execute management reports to ensure the correct MI is being used in decision making by both Finance and the Business.
  • Working with the Lead Business Partners, you will identify and implement initiatives and opportunities such as cost reduction, product mix and customer/contract profitability.
  • Your responsibilities will extend to supporting the standard business performance management framework and ongoing development to align with business needs and you will identify key risks and opportunities which will inform plans, forecasts and management reporting.
  • You will provide a broad range of detailed and insightful business analysis in order to facilitate decision making and identify potential improvement opportunities and you will support the execution and consolidation of the annual BU budget and provide financial insight and analysis as necessary to ensure budgets are accurate and realistic.
  • You will review financial statements and management reporting on behalf of the Lead Business Partner where applicable and you will work closely with the Finance Operations team to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting.

The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA), ideally with a FTSE 100/ large company background and strong analytical and financial modelling skills. You should drive to seek efficiencies, be proactive in your approach, flexible and have strong attention to detail.
