We are pleased to be partnering with our client a global and well renowned business within the hospitality Sector. To appoint a Finance Business Partner within their accounting team. Based at their prestigious client site you will report to the Head of Finance and Contract Director to support the business in driving financial performance and monitor cost control and change initiatives.

The Position

  • Identification of key commercial initiatives to drive business performance and provide financial leadership and support delivery through financial analysis.
  • Provide financial and commercial insight to senior management teams to support decision making and drive business performance.
  • Be a business partner to senior management, assisting in setting the overall strategy and priorities for the business.
  • Play a key part of client relationship management where appropriate, notably in financial reporting and commercial negotiations.
  • Ownership of the financial results and reporting of performance including budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Identification and management of risks and opportunities in financial performance.
  • Management of debt (including cash collection) and ownership of balance sheet integrity including monthly balance sheet reviews with contracts.

The person

  • Qualified accountant with ideally 2/3 years commercial accounting experience.
  • Previous experience gained within the hospitality, retail, sports and entertainment Sectors highly desirable.
  • Extensive business partnering stakeholder management experience essential.
  • High numeric and analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
  • Proven financial and commercial acumen essential.
  • Previous and demonstrable commercial finance experience of improving business results and adding value.
  • Proficiency using IT software systems - Retail (EPOS) Desirable MS Office Excel (Advanced) Word (Intermediate) and financial reporting tools.
  • Demonstrate high level communication skills both written and verbal must be able to confidently present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
