Summary:
Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Service Introduction Manager, to assist with our clients Products, Services and Technology Platforms, ensuring high levels of service availability and good Customer Experience. This is in collaboration with teams spanning Technology, Operations, 3rd party service providers, vendors and business stakeholders.
The role also requires proactive planning and support of new product launches, as major events also forms a key part of the function's overall remit. Ensuring that service and operational support risks are fully considered and effectively mitigated, reducing the risk and potential impact of Service Impacting incidents.

What you'll need to do:

  • Competition Finance is currently undergoing a major transformation project which will result in new ways of working. The existing team is busy implementing these changes therefore this role will assist with critical project needs and/or BAU tasks which the current team does not have the bandwidth to perform.
  • Project work includes but is not limited to user acceptance testing for excel models which have been replatformed into Alteryx, building controls for the new workflows in Alteryx and any other optimisation work that is required.
  • BAU work includes operating Alteryx workflows dealing with various regulatory reporting areas. You will use your knowledge to review and validate the revenues and cost attributions and identify any errors or divergence from published methodologies. You will also be responsible for explaining published regulatory results to internal and external stakeholders.


What we'll need from you:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving
  • Great communication skills to explain your work to non-subject matter experts
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships across the business
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of working with large, complex datasets (mandatory)
  • Financial modelling and costing analysis experience (preferred)
  • Record of independent delivery of key outputs and process improvement (mandatory)
  • Experienced Alteryx or similar software user (preferred)
