My client, a well-known technology company based in the City of London, is currently seeking a Big4 trained ACA qualified Senior Finance Analyst to join their team on a 9-month contract. This could turn in to a longer term opportunity for the right candidate. You should ideally be immediately available or on a maximum of 2 week's notice.

The Financial Analyst will support the Sales and Revenue Function, and will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, and analytics of revenue and sales for various software products. This person will assist with driving efficient reporting and insightful analytics to help the business units achieve their financial goals. The role will report to the Finance Manager for Software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue planning, reporting and forecasting for software products
  • Partner with Customer Segments to help drive growth and efficiencies by providing focused information and insights
  • Become an expert in the processes and data related to software products in support of streamlining and standardising processes, analysis, and reporting related to Sales, Book of Business and Revenue
  • Support FP&A teams including monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting, Annual Plan and Long Range Outlooks and relevant analysis
  • Ensure that high standards of process and quality controls are built into business process

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Big4 trained ACA fully qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE
  • Experience gained in a similar role combining FP&A, reporting and forecasting
  • Experience of revenue and sales accounting
  • Experience of working with overseas Shared Service Centres
  • Ability to collate and analyse information and present results in a clear and concise manner to senior executives
  • Advanced levels of MS Excel, PowerPoint skills and prior experience of Hyperion are essential. Business Objects experience is desirable
