Financial Analyst (Bids) Portsmouth £40,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits About the role Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Financial Analyst. You will be a key member of multi-disciplined teams, providing challenge and support the wider team in the development of financially robust and commercially strong, solutions in response to customer requirements. You will also work with the bid team solution leads and provide relevant modelling and analysis to support and challenge the development of the solution. Your other duties will consist of: Ensure that the financial model is prepared in accordance with accounting standards and Babcock Group policiesOwn and operate the financial model(s) that develops the price that is submitted to the customer, and demonstrates the financial impacts of the solution to Babcock, including revenue, profit, cash, and capital expenditureSupport the production of risk and opportunity registersWork with operational teams to ensure an effective transition of tenders into operational contracts.Support the preparation and delivery of presentations to gain the relevant approvals to submit tenders, against the governance requirementsSupport wider projects as requiredPrepare and manage bid budgets and cost centre ownership as required, including forecasting of bid costsWhat do I need to do the role? You'll need to be educated to degree level of education, CIMA / ACCA / ACA part qualified or equivalent, evidence of CPD & technically strong, experience of financial modelling and data analysis, with strong advanced excel knowledge, experience in the preparation of Budget & Forecasts or FP&A and project management experience.
