FileNet Administrator (FileNet, DB2, Linux) - London - 3 Month Contract

My client, a global IT Services and Technology company are looking to hire 5 FileNet Administrators to join an existing project working with one of their Financial Services customers in London. The role will be on an initial 3 month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:

  • The successful individual will join an existing programme whereby my client manages all the Infrastructure for one of the UK's leading Financial Services organisations.
  • You will be required to join as part of a team that is responsible for the installation and administration of FileNet.
  • You will also be responsible for the on going performance tuning, patching and upgrades of FileNet.
  • You will also be working within a customer facing environment and expected to work to tight deadlines and at high demand.

Essential Experience/Skills:

  • Candidates should have extensive FileNet experience with the installation and administration of versions 5.X.
  • Exposure to upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2 and 5.5 are also required as well as experience of environment set up.
  • As part of the day to day of the role you must also be able to patch and upgrade FileNet components and carry out performance tuning. You should also be able to troubleshoot and resolve any FileNet issues that may arise.
  • A strong knowledge of ICN desktop configuration and customisation set up is also essential and a good understanding of SSO technologies within ICN would also be beneficial.
  • Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a good level of knowledge on Oracle, DB2 and SQL server databases.
  • The client has also expressed a desire to speak with candidates who have worked in a Linux environment and can provide reliability and secure operation of the production server environment.
  • Any exposure to IBM Content search service (CSS 5.2.x and 5.5.x) as well as knowledge and experience with ICC 4.0.1 for File System and exchange and ICC4SAP would also be beneficial.
  • Due to the environment you will be working in Basic Financial Services checks are required before anyone can start on the project so you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
