About the role:

Currently we are working with a leading Oil & Gas manufacturer specialising in Directional Drilling and Drilling Optimisation. They are looking to recruit a Facilities Technician on their site in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver interested with relevant industrial experience and an ability to communicate effectively.

The role of Facilities Technician is an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical and mechanical maintenance skills within an engaging industry. What does the role involve?

  • Review and approve maintenance requests (assigned via internal maintenance request system) ensuring prompt follow up with stakeholders.
  • Raise order requests with approved service suppliers and contractors.
  • Carry out day to day repair and maintenance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Good basic education essential (minimum GCSE Grade C English & Maths)
  • Recognised Electrical qualification up to 18th edition of the IEE regulations/Part P Electrical Safety, backed up with experience in a similar maintenance/service environment or electrical installation background
  • Relevant industrial experience
