Working within the External Test team the purpose of this role is to support the key pillars of the External Testing service - covering trader dress rehearsal, trade test proving, automation and post implementation proving. These activities are critical to the successful implementation of the client's plan to migrate high volume users onto the service. The personal traits we are looking for are

Essential Technical Experience

  • Proficient in planning and detailed scheduling including implementation planning
  • Experience of complex technology enabled E2E business processes
  • Excellent analytical capability within a technical environment (incl ability to review and analyse xml test payloads)
  • Strong presentation skills: written / oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex problems or solutions.
  • Experience of developing and delivering solutions working with DevOps teams
  • Proficient in MS Office, JIRA and Confluence

Essential Business Experience

  • Documenting and developing the technical and non-technical service lifecycle requirements covering planning, setup, execution, monitoring and reporting.
  • Evolving the service lifecycle in line with the scope of CDS Programme releases
  • Support the identification and development of automation solutions to assist in the monitoring and reporting of the service
  • Ownership of key delivery tasks within the External Test team supporting project managers leading Trader Dress Rehearsal, Post Implementation Proving and Trade Test.
  • Identification and analysis of problems and issues that may affect the successful adoption of the TDR service
  • Application of proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team's plans and objectives are achieved
  • Gathering and analysing data relating to the External Test service components in order to support incident management and service evaluation / reporting
