Executive Assistant

12 Month FTC - £38,000

Holborn - Central London

The successful candidate will provide high quality executive assistance for the creation of the debt advice sector strategy for the UK, including an independent review of debt advice funding

Key Accountabilities:

  • Delivering administrative and business support to the team developing the debt advice sector strategy for the UK and the independent lead of the debt advice funding review.
  • Managing complex reporting and assistance in the creation of the debt advice sector strategy
  • Organising and scheduling relevant meetings, facilities and resources
  • Managing staff issues including expenses, training, leave monitoring and scheduling.
  • Coordinating meetings including providing advance agendas, taking minutes and ensuring all actions are followed-up and completed
  • Booking travel ensuring adherence to policy
  • Overseeing team filing and records management.
  • Providing cover and support for others developing the debt advice sector strategy and additionally for support staff in the executive office.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated EA experience supporting senior management level
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Ability to accurately and effectively manage a variety of administrative and business management tasks
  • A pro-active individual with a high level of integrity and discretion
  • Advanced experience with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage workflows, prioritise and work well under pressure
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of standard office management processes and systems.
  • Able to work autonomously and manage/ influence others to meet deadlines and required standards.
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, with specific expertise in agenda preparation, minute taking and letter writing.
  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong team player capabilities enjoying matrix working.
